A new house extension

We recently started another project to build a new extension on this property. With the cost of stamp duty being so high many homeowners are looking at their existing property to see if they can reconfigure the rooms to get the extra space they are looking for without the cost of the "moving tax".

Stamp duty is lost money, by spending money on changing your existing home wisely you will add additional value - making it an investment.

Adding an extension to the rear of your property allows you to open up space and "reimagine" the rooms. Lounges and kitchens can become extended family rooms, giving you fresh space and adding more energy to your home.

If you are looking for a local builder we would recommend that you get a good architect to work through ideas with you. Once you have planning permission, structural engineering drawings and the final plans you should then seek some prices. Three is the normal number of quotes for comparison.

Preparing quotes takes an enormous amount of work so please don't expect a price back in a week! We often have to go to manufacturers of windows, doors etc and get a price from them before we can begin to build up the quote for you.
